Lazy nails!

Hello readers! So a quick post today before I get on to reviewing some Essie Polish. I was really lazy and decided to keep the rhinestone accent nail I had in the previous mani, but I repainted the rest with China Glaze Refresh Mint.

Essie Butler Please review and rhinestone accent nail!

Hello readers! So, I'm gonna start swatching and reviewing some Essie polish. However, i'm not going to post it all at once, but look forward to some reviews in the upcoming posts. So to start off the reviews, a review of Essie Butler Please. I didn't take pictures before I added a rhinestone accent nail, sorry.

Essie Butler Please is a bright and vivid blue. It is almost a royal blue color, but lighter, a very beautiful shade. Although this shade is nice and very fun, I didn't find it particularly flattering on my tanned skin. The formula of polish was well pigmented, however, it dries super fast, too fast for my liking because it caused some balding/ patching to occur when I went over the same place twice so I had to work quickly. The polish dries satin, so I had to use top coat. All pictures show two coats and top coat.

Under artificial light, my skin looks way more tan than it is in real life, it actually shows a better picture of what the color looks like though in real life though.
In shade.

I love this picture, the blue came out so nice here! I'll soon continue with more reviews with some nail art in between that. What do you think of this mani? Let me know in the comments below!

Color Club Electro Midnight review!

So, it's been a while since my last post where I've recently reviewed Essie Sssssexy which you can see here. I planned on continuing that review on my natural nails, but unfortunately the pictures I took on my natural nails were not good quality. I did swatch the polish on a falsie, and will show those pictures, and one picture on my natural nails although for some reason they won't rotate.

So sorry that this picture isn't the best either, the next ones will be better quality and you'll see the magnetic effect better. So I started with one coat of Color Club Electro Midnight and then waited till it was completely dry. Drying time was fast, and this color was opaque with one coat, but I applied another coat anyways. After I applied the second coat, I immediately hovered the magnet over the polish, because otherwise the effect does not show well. This polish has good opacity, dries fast, and very glossy. First two pictures show no top coat.

I repainted this nail because the waves came out crooked, and you'll see better magnet effects in the next picture.
This picture also shows no top coat, you can see the pretty blue shimmer in this picture.
With flash, this picture also shows the silver and blue shimmer very well.
On my natural nails. I'm not sure why, but this picture won't rotate. I'll just post it anyways to give you an idea of what it looks like on natural nails.

Overall, I like these polishes. They have similar formulas, but I was disappointed in Essie's snakeskin effect cap, so I prefer Color Club Electro Midnight. I like the magnetic effect, but so far I haven't come over very many unique colors when it comes to magnetic polishes. I personally don't know if I would purchase magnetic polish again, although they do have a nice effect.

What do you think of this mani? Any questions, let me know in the comments below!
